The audio enthusiast community has useful rules of thumb, but finding specific answers for specific pairings usually means reading forum threads, decoding spec sheets, or trusting reviews that rarely show their math. This site shows the math.

Every verdict is computed from published specifications using standard acoustic engineering formulas. The target SPL, the sensitivity calculation, the impedance check — all documented on the methodology page. Where independent measurements exist (from Reference Audio Analyzer), we use those in preference to manufacturer claims and label them clearly.
